Job Opportunity: Snowflake Developer / Programmer Analyst 3
We are seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Developer or Programmer Analyst 3 for a remote contract position with one of our esteemed clients. This role requires a strong background in data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and business intelligence reporting, with a specific focus on Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake.
- Perform complex data transformations and data loading into Snowflake.
- Optimize Snowflake queries and data structures for performance tuning.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for reporting, data extracts, and data-driven applications.
- Develop and support Power BI reports, datasets, and data models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Analyze complex data flows and troubleshoot issues across multiple systems.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise information management processes and methodologies.
- Manage metadata and maintain data governance standards.
- Work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments, ensuring project delivery and meeting deadlines.
- Analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to work with people under pressure, negotiate among multiple parties, resolve conflicts, and establish effective working relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of overall experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake (SQL, data loading, transformations, performance tuning).
- 8+ years of experience in understanding ETL/ELT concepts, data pipelines, and data integration patterns.
- 4+ years of experience building or supporting Power BI reports, datasets, and data models.
- 4+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements for reporting, data extracts, or data-driven applications.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing complex data flows and troubleshooting issues across multiple systems.
- 4+ years of knowledge of enterprise information management processes and methodologies, relational database management systems, and metadata management.
- 2+ years of experience working in fast-paced and ever-changing environments; achieving project delivery and deadlines; analyzing complex information and developing plans to address identified issues.
- 2+ years of skill in interpersonal relationships, including the ability to work with people under pressure, negotiate among multiple parties, resolve conflicts, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of personnel.
- Mandatory: State/Federal client experience.
Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations (PII) relevant to data management and data governance.
- 3+ years of experience with Informatica, Matillion, Azure Data Factory, or similar data integration tools.
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in data processing, computer science, business administration, or a related field.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
