Position Summary
Tech Destin Inc is looking for a Senior Snowflake Developer to lead the design and implementation of scalable data warehouse solutions. This remote position requires a technical expert who can bridge the gap between complex data requirements and high-performance cloud architecture. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of data movement, from ingestion via Informatica to sophisticated modeling within the Snowflake platform.
Core Technical Duties
- Design and implement robust Snowflake data models using Snowflake SQL, ensuring adherence to enterprise data warehousing best practices.
- Develop and maintain complex stored procedures, views, and performance-optimized queries to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Architect and support end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica (PowerCenter and IICS) to facilitate seamless data integration.
- Deploy fully operational data warehouse solutions into production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
- Optimize Snowflake resource utilization, including virtual warehouse management and clustering keys, to maintain cost-effective performance.
Collaboration and Leadership
- Partner with business stakeholders, data analysts, and external vendors to translate high-level requirements into detailed technical specifications.
- Lead technical delivery teams, providing guidance on architecture standards and design patterns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks in existing data pipelines and proposing modern solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and security across all layers of the data warehouse, following industry-standard governance protocols.
Required Technical Stack
- Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and Snowflake SQL is mandatory.
- Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Data Vault).
- Proven experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Strong understanding of cloud-native ETL/ELT architecture and pipeline design patterns.
- Ability to manage production deployments and provide high-tier support for data operations.
Professional Qualifications
- 8 to 10 years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing roles.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on scalability and performance tuning.
- Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams in a remote setting.
Special Requirements
Visa Constraint: No GC, Only H1B candidates will be considered.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
