Job Title: Snowflake Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role is fully remote and requires expertise in Snowflake, Python, and Streamlit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust Snowflake data pipelines.
- Implement data solutions using Snowflake Cortex Code and Snowflake Horizon Catalog.
- Write efficient Python scripts for data manipulation and processing.
- Build interactive data visualizations and applications using Streamlit.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security within the Snowflake environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines and Snowflake performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Snowflake: 2-5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehousing.
- Python: Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
- Streamlit: Experience in building data applications with Streamlit.
- Snowflake Cortex Code: Familiarity with Snowflake’s advanced features.
- Snowflake Horizon Catalog: Experience with data cataloging and governance.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
