Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer 3 to join our dynamic development team in Austin, TX. This is a hybrid role requiring a local presence to support our collaborative Agile environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing sophisticated software solutions by analyzing user needs, studying system flows, and optimizing work processes. This role demands a deep technical expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem and a commitment to delivering high-quality, secure, and scalable applications.
Hybrid Work Model
- Schedule: 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (Thursday and Friday required).
- Location Constraint: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin, TX.
- Duration: 12-month initial contract with potential for extension.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions by conducting thorough analysis of information needs and conferring with end-users.
- Investigate and resolve complex problem areas within existing systems.
- Design, prepare, and install software solutions by determining system specifications and programming standards.
- Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) within an Agile (Scrum) framework.
- Write high-quality code in Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Implement no-code solutions using Salesforce configurations such as Flows and Process Builders.
- Document technical solutions, analysis, and problem resolutions clearly.
- Support applications across multiple environments, including testing, peer reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Provide on-call support as required by the project needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure deliverables meet the ‘Definition of Done’.
Technical Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex programming, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- 8+ years of experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including version management and change control.
- 8+ years of experience in end-to-end Salesforce program management, including classic-to-lightning upgrades and data migrations.
- 8+ years of experience with authentication protocols (OAuth) and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, REST/SOAP).
- 8+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications via custom REST APIs.
- Proven ability to provide secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform.
Preferred Skills
- 4+ years of experience with DevOps technologies, including CI/CD pipelines and tools like Flosum or Git.
- 2+ years of experience creating custom Reports and Dashboards in Salesforce.
- 2+ years of experience working within an Agile Software Development methodology.
Special Requirements

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $205,000 per year (Estimated)
