Position: Software Engineer 3 (Salesforce Specialist)
AE Talents Inc is proud to present an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer 3 to join a dynamic team in Austin, Texas. This role is specifically tailored for a Salesforce expert who possesses a deep understanding of the Force.com platform and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications. As a Level 3 engineer, you will be expected to lead by example, utilizing your 8+ years of experience to drive technical excellence and innovation within an Agile framework. This position is critical for the delivery of complex software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our users and stakeholders.
Core Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience in Salesforce development, including writing robust Apex programming, Visualforce pages, and complex Apex triggers.
- Advanced proficiency in modern Salesforce UI frameworks, specifically Aura Components and Lightning Web Components (LWC), to create intuitive and responsive user experiences.
- Proven track record of implementing ‘no-code’ solutions using Salesforce configurations such as Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules to maximize platform efficiency and maintainability.
- Deep knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including coding standards, change control, and version management.
- Experience with complex system integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, oAuth protocols, and handling data formats like JSON and XML.
- Ability to perform classic to lightning upgrades and manage large-scale data migrations and 3rd party application integrations.
- Experience in assessing Salesforce.com architecture to provide secure, high-performance technical solutions on the Force.com platform.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into secure, high-performance technical specifications on the Salesforce platform.
- Participate in all phases of the Agile (Scrum) process, from sprint planning and story design to daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
- Conduct rigorous peer reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers to maintain high coding standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes to ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Salesforce and other cloud-based or on-premises applications.
- Document technical solutions, analysis, and design patterns to ensure knowledge sharing and long-term system maintainability.
Location and Work Culture
This position is based in the vibrant tech hub of Austin, TX (78751). We are strictly seeking local candidates who already reside in the Austin area; out-of-state candidates or those planning to move will not be considered. The role follows a hybrid model, requiring three days of onsite collaboration to foster team synergy and two days of remote work for focused development. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in DevOps technology including CI/CD pipelines and build/deployment tools such as Flosum and Git.
- Experience in creating custom Reports and Dashboards in Salesforce to provide actionable business insights.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to confer with users to study systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Availability for on-call support as needed to maintain critical system operations.
Special Requirements
Local to Austin area only. No out-of-state candidates. Hybrid (3 days onsite). Agile (Scrum) experience required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
