Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer Lead to join our team. This role is crucial for mitigating risk within the security line of business. You will be part of an infrastructure team responsible for migrating from Apigee to a new technology, API Connect. This is a critical initiative for the bank, requiring strong technical leadership and a deep understanding of API management platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of complex new and emerging technologies, selecting appropriate platforms and integrating solutions.
- Leverage technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build, and maintain technology solutions.
- Manage own project tasks and demonstrate the ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Build integration solutions in accordance with strategies and standards.
- Resolve defects and facilitate troubleshooting of integration issues.
- Advise on expanding the usage of IS standard tools on projects and other initiatives.
- Draft and update policies and best practices.
- Perform continuous improvement of efficiency, productivity, and usage.
- Implement methods to capture system SLA, logs, and data quality metrics.
- Provide systematic analysis of complex client requirements within the traceability framework and resolve functional problems.
- Oversee the quality of complex project deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and processes.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of LDAP, AD, PING, SysLog, Jenkins, XML Spy, SOAPUI.
- Highly self-driven and self-motivated.
- Hands-on technical expertise with Apigee Administration, including:
- Experience managing all components related to Apigee Edge (Management/UI Servers, Message Processor/Router nodes, Cassandra/Zookeeper rings & Postgres analytic databases).
- Experience with Apigee Edge software updates and fresh installs.
- Must-have technical skills: API Connect, Apigee, DataPower.
- Knowledge of Dev portals.
- CICD pipeline experience.
Industry Background:
Finance or Banking industry background is required.
Location:
Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; or Phoenix, AZ.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
