Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Software Test Analyst 5 to join our team. This role involves leading QA activities, mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. You will be responsible for managing complex test cycles, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute software quality assurance and automated testing activities.
- Mentor and guide junior testers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Collaborate effectively with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum setting.
- Manage complex test cycles from planning through execution and reporting, ensuring timely delivery.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for managing test plans, test cases, and tracking defects.
- Integrate automated tests into build and release pipelines to support CI/CD practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation and reporting, including test coverage and defect analysis.
- Work closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
Top Skills & Years of Experience Required:
- 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automated testing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead QA activities and mentor junior testers.
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps Repos, Boards, Pipelines, and Test Plans.
- Strong ability to manage complex test cycles and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills, particularly concerning defects and test coverage.
- Experience integrating automated tests into build and release pipelines.
Desired Experience:
- Experience with Finance, public pension, or retirement systems.
