Role Overview
STM Consulting INC is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Solution Architect with a deep background in Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies. This role is pivotal in leading the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions. You will work at the intersection of business and technology, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to define architectural strategies that drive cloud adoption and ensure the successful delivery of complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture design for cloud-native and enterprise applications using the Microsoft Azure stack and .NET Core.
- Define comprehensive solution architectures, technical roadmaps, and best practices that align with long-term business objectives.
- Design scalable, resilient, and secure distributed systems leveraging Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS services.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless implementation of architectural designs.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural governance across multiple concurrent projects.
- Conduct rigorous architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives to maintain high standards of quality.
- Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and complex integration solutions.
- Ensure all solutions comply with security, regulatory, and enterprise architecture standards.
- Support the adoption of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of the existing architecture.
Required Technical Expertise
- Deep expertise in .NET, .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, specifically:
- Azure App Services and Azure Functions
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Service Bus and Event Grid
- Azure SQL and Cosmos DB
- Azure API Management and Azure DevOps
- Proven experience in designing microservices architectures and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and integration frameworks.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in software development.
- At least 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Solution Architecture role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior and senior developers.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $185,000 – $255,000 per year (Estimated)
