Position Overview: Solution Architect (Wireline) with Mandatory AT&T Experience
We are actively seeking a highly experienced and visionary Solution Architect specializing in Wireline technologies, with a critical prerequisite of prior experience at AT&T. This pivotal role is designed for a professional who can drive significant technological transformation within consumer and business technology platforms. The successful candidate will be instrumental in modernizing existing infrastructures into cutting-edge, cloud-native, and AI-driven systems. This encompasses leading high-impact initiatives such as the seamless integration of 5G and broadband services, optimizing complex data workflows through Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies, and meticulously designing end-to-end (E2E) architectures that are robust, scalable, and future-proof. Key Responsibilities and Impact Areas:
- End-to-End Architecture Design: Define, design, and oversee the implementation of comprehensive E2E solution architectures specifically tailored for wireline platforms, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and technical best practices.
- Legacy System Modernization: Spearhead initiatives to transform and modernize legacy systems, migrating them to contemporary cloud-native architectures on platforms like AWS and/or Azure, thereby improving agility, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- 5G and Broadband Integration: Drive the integration of advanced 5G and broadband services within complex enterprise ecosystems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance across all relevant platforms.
- Generative AI Optimization: Implement and optimize data workflows utilizing Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies to enhance automation, predictive capabilities, and overall data processing efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to ensure the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing systems.
- Architectural Governance: Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, establish governance standards, and ensure adherence to architectural principles throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that architectural solutions are aligned with business requirements and technical feasibility.
Required Qualifications and Expertise:
Experience:
- A minimum of 7-10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture or complex system design, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
- Mandatory Prior Experience with AT&T: Candidates must possess verifiable prior experience working at AT&T, bringing invaluable insights into their operational frameworks, technologies, and strategic initiatives.
- Strong background and deep understanding of the telecom domain, particularly within wireline services.
Wireline & Network Expertise:
- Profound understanding of fiber and broadband technologies, including their architecture, deployment, and operational aspects.
- Strong knowledge of 3GPP standards and their application in telecommunications networks.
- Extensive experience with wireline network infrastructure, including design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
Cloud & Modernization:
- Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure, including designing and deploying cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in API design principles and experience with SaaS integrations, enabling seamless connectivity between disparate systems.
- Demonstrated experience in modernizing legacy platforms, including re-platforming, re-architecting, and refactoring applications for cloud environments.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Salesforce Customer 360 (C360) and its integration capabilities.
- Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.
- Strong expertise in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Tools & Documentation:
- Familiarity with architectural design tools such as Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence for tracking tasks, documentation, and team communication.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year (Estimated)
