About the Role:
We are seeking a Splunk Developer to build dashboards, develop custom Splunk applications, and create advanced analytics solutions using Splunk Enterprise. This role requires a strong understanding of Splunk’s capabilities and the ability to translate business needs into effective data analysis and visualization solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize SPL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Splunk.
- Develop custom Splunk apps and integrations.
- Automate data ingestion and processing workflows.
- Integrate Splunk with APIs and third-party tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk performance and data accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk features and best practices.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience developing solutions in Splunk.
- Strong knowledge of SPL (Search Processing Language).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience building dashboards and custom Splunk applications.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) or other Splunk security modules.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Splunk application deployment.
- Knowledge of IT operations and security best practices.
Special Requirements
Hybrid. Only local candidates. Previous State experience preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
