Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Splunk .NET MVC C# Developer to join a development team responsible for modernizing enterprise applications and implementing Splunk-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Splunk development, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and enterprise application development, along with the ability to train development teams on Splunk technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Train the software development team on Splunk fundamentals, including dashboards, reporting, search capabilities, events, APIs, knowledge objects, and data models.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement a Splunk-based solution for modernizing enterprise applications.
• Work with architects, planning managers, business analysts, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and implement enterprise applications following established development and security standards.
• Build, deploy, and test software applications using modern development tools and automated deployment processes.
• Identify and recommend technical solutions that meet business objectives and provide cost-effective alternatives.
• Review test plans and test cases with QA teams.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Establish strong working relationships with internal technical teams.
• Provide knowledge transfer and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience with Splunk, including: Splunk application development, Splunk APIs, Dashboard administration and development, Logging and monitoring solutions, Ability to train teams on Splunk technologies.
• 7+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC development using C#.
• 5+ years of experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit or JUnit).
• 7+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Entity Framework.
• Strong experience with MS SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience working in Agile Scrum development environments.
• Experience developing Windows Services using .NET 4.0 or above.
• Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Experience working with XML Schemas and XSLT.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience with Bootstrap (4/5) and jQuery.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
