Job Title: SQL Database Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced SQL Database Engineer with over 10 years of experience in database administration and development. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and have hands-on experience with PL/SQL and MySQL. This role requires a deep understanding of database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting in high availability and low latency environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and develop Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Optimize database performance through tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues to ensure system stability and availability.
- Support high availability and low latency database environments.
- Ensure data integrity, database security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement efficient database solutions.
- Provide technical expertise and support for database-related projects.
- Work with real-time and batch payment systems.
- Develop and maintain database documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in database administration and development.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with PL/SQL and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting high availability and low latency database environments.
- Knowledge of data integrity, database security, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience working with real-time and batch payment systems.
- Ability to monitor, maintain, and optimize database performance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information:
This is an onsite position located in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for candidates who can bring a strong technical background and a proactive approach to database management. We accept all Visas & EADs including CPT, OPT, H4, L2, H1B, GC EAD, GC, TN, and USC.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
