Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SQL / Power BI Developer with a strong background in data analytics and business intelligence. This role involves close collaboration with Data Modernization teams within ITD and DPH to design, develop, and manage impactful Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with technical and business goals.
Required Qualifications (MANDATORY)
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI, data analytics, business intelligence, or data science
- Strong experience building dashboards and writing DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
- Expertise in RDBMS (Oracle or MS SQL Server)
- Advanced skills in SQL queries and stored procedures
- Ability to transform complex datasets into visual insights (charts, graphs, maps)
- Experience with On-Premises Data Gateway and handling large datasets from AWS Data Lake or similar cloud platforms
- Knowledge of data security and governance within Power BI
- Experience with data integration from multiple sources (cloud, data lakes, Excel, etc.)
- Familiarity with ODBC connectors
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior State/Government experience

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
