Job Summary:
Stellar Consulting LLC is seeking a dedicated SQL Production Support Engineer to join our team in Irvine, CA. This hybrid role offers a blend of onsite and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring critical production systems are maintained and optimized. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting issues across various digital ordering channels, monitoring and supporting middleware infrastructure, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues impacting digital ordering channels, including Kiosk, Delivery, and Point-of-Sale systems.
- Middleware Support: Monitor and troubleshoot production environments, specifically focusing on AWS infrastructure, Lumigo, and Aurora MySQL RDS.
- Data Management Collaboration: Work closely with Data Management and QA/QE teams to support the testing and launch of new product offerings, including menu item updates and limited-time offers.
- Ticket Resolution: Address and resolve escalated tickets affecting production environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Developer Support: Assist Menu Middleware (MMW) Developers with MMW releases and deployments.
- Process Adherence: Follow Taco Bell’s established Change Management procedures diligently.
- Qualifications and Skills:
- SQL Expertise (Required): Minimum of 6 months of hands-on SQL experience, with a strong emphasis on building complex queries, joining tables, and creating/running stored procedures and templates.
- Cloud & Scripting (Nice to Have): Experience with AWS, Python, REST APIs, Bash scripting, and Power scripting is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive Approach: A proactive mindset with a demonstrated ability to build processes and create comprehensive documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong ability to diagnose problems, prioritize tasks, and follow through to successful resolution.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Work Environment: This is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days per week in the Irvine, CA office and 3 days of remote work.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the quick-service restaurant industry or retail technology is a plus.
- Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like Lumigo and database management systems like Aurora MySQL RDS.
