Role Overview
Dia Software Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Appian Certified Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a senior-level contributor, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated business applications using the Appian low-code platform. This role is critical for organizations looking to accelerate their digital transformation by automating complex business processes and delivering high-quality user experiences. You will work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build complex Appian applications using SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Layer) and intricate Process Models to automate enterprise workflows.
- Develop and maintain seamless integrations with external systems, databases, and third-party services via REST and SOAP APIs.
- Optimize UI performance and responsiveness to ensure a high-quality user experience across various devices and platforms.
- Lead the development of unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of all deployed applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and business analysts, to validate requirements and ensure successful delivery within Agile sprints.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices in Appian development and architectural design.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to maintain high standards of code quality and system integrity.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Appian or similar low-code platform development.
- Mandatory Appian Level 2 Senior Developer Certification; candidates must provide a verified copy of this certification upon submission.
- At least 8 years of experience working within Agile methodologies, demonstrating a strong understanding of sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective processes.
- Proven expertise in designing complex process models, data types (CDTs), and advanced SAIL interfaces.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, essential for collaborating with diverse stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience with GAMS (Government Acquisition Management Suite) is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required; equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
