About the Role:
OSS Inc. is urgently seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in Learning Management System (LMS) migrations and maintenance. This is a long-term contract role supporting IBM, with an initial requirement for Day 1 onsite in San Jose, CA, though the role is listed as Remote. The primary focus will be on the technical and integration design aspects of large-scale LMS migrations. You will act as a technical and collaboration anchor across multiple workstreams, ensuring successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical and collaboration anchor for large-scale LMS migrations.
- Specialize in technical and integration design, working closely with cross-functional partners.
- Define, document, and validate design decisions to enable effective implementation.
- Partner with HRIS, IT, Security, Learning, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure technical designs are clearly documented.
- Ensure technical designs are aligned across teams and executable within enterprise and compliance constraints.
- Provide program support and coordination to keep technical activities aligned with overall project milestones.
- Leverage extensive business knowledge and package expertise to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Support the integration of packaged technology solutions into the client’s business environment.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with LMS – LMS Migration skills.
- Proven experience with SABA or similar LMS system maintenance.
- Experience as a Senior Technical Business Systems Analyst.
- Understanding of technical and integration design for LMS transitions.
- Familiarity with cross-functional partnerships (HRIS, IT, Security, Learning, Compliance, vendors).
- Ability to document technical designs clearly and ensure alignment.
- Experience supporting program activities and project milestones.
- Proficiency in various Tier-2 enterprise resource planning (ERP) and MES systems is a plus (e.g., Infor, Apriso Flexnet, IFS, Maconomy, Notes/Domino, BPCS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
