Job Summary:

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Sr. Curam Developer for a long-term project based in Durham, NC. This role requires a certified Curam Developer with strong technical skills in Java, J2SE, J2EE, XML, and XSL. The ideal candidate will have experience configuring, designing, developing, and testing dashboards using Power BI, as well as experience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure Curam modules (V6/7/8, V8 preferred).
  • Design, develop, and test dashboards using Power BI.
  • Utilize technical knowledge in Java, J2SE, J2EE, XML, and XSL for web application system analysis and programming.
  • Work with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools.
  • Perform Relational Database modeling.
  • Adhere to structured system development methodologies.
  • Develop strong relationships with the client by responding to needs and exhibiting a sense of urgency.
  • Independently identify and propose solutions to complex issues.
  • Organize, prioritize, and follow complex and/or detailed technical procedures.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects or BIRT.
  • Engage in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) development practices.
  • Lead and mentor the development team, taking ownership of project deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Curam V6/7/8 Certified Developer (V8 preferred).
  • Technical expertise in Java, J2SE, J2EE, XML, and XSL.
  • Experience configuring, designing, developing, and testing dashboards using Power BI.
  • Experience with Oracle, Oracle Utilities, and ETL tools.
  • Experience with Relational Database modeling.
  • Experience with structured system development methodologies.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Business Objects, BIRT).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
  • Strong ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
