Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Data Engineer with strong SAP domain expertise in Supply Chain Management for a remote, contract position. The role involves working with Azure cloud technologies and migrating DataStage jobs to the Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data engineering, Azure services, and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience.
  • Utilize Azure environment extensively.
  • Leverage Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Data bricks Delta, Pyspark, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Apply experience in the Healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrate strong SAP domain expertise in Supply Chain Management.
  • Execute ETL migration of DataStage jobs to the Azure environment.
  • Utilize reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Apply expertise in Unix and Linux Scripting.
  • Work with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Utilize Snowflake.
  • Employ Azure DevOps (CI/CD).

Required Skills:

  • Data engineer with 10+ Years of experience.
  • Good exposure in Azure environment.
  • Good knowledge in Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Data bricks Delta, Pyspark, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake.
  • Having experience in Healthcare industry.
  • Strong SAP domain expertise in Supply Chain Management.
  • Good experience in ETL Migration of DataStage jobs to Azure environment.
  • Hands-on experience in reporting tools – Power BI and Tableau.
  • Hands-on expertise in Unix and Linux Scripting.
  • Good Knowledge in SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
  • Good experience in Snowflake.
  • Experience in Azure devops (CI/CD).

Good to Have:

  • Certification in Databricks.

Special Requirements

Remote. Contract duration: 12 months. Strong SAP domain expertise in Supply Chain Management.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
