Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr ETL Developer to join our team in Houston, TX. This is a hybrid role requiring 10 years of dedicated experience in ETL development and related technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AWS Glue, Lambda, and end-to-end implementation of AWS Development projects. Proficiency in ETL tools, particularly Matillion, is essential. A solid understanding of DBT tools and Snowflake is also a must for this position.
The role demands excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Strong SQL skills are fundamental, along with a good understanding of ServiceNow and JIRA ticketing tools for project management and issue tracking.
- Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes and workflows using AWS services like Glue and Lambda.
- Design and implement robust data integration solutions leveraging Matillion and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL processes, data quality, and performance.
- Optimize ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the data pipeline.
- Document ETL processes, data models, and technical specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong AWS Glue, Lambda, and ETL development experience of 8+ years.
- Good experience in end-to-end implementation of AWS Development projects, especially Glue and Lambda Services.
- Good experience in ETL tool preferably Matillion.
- Knowledge on DBT tools and Snowflake is a must.
- Very strong in English communication written and verbal.
- Strong SQL Skills.
- Good Understanding of ServiceNow and JIRA Ticketing tools.
