About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. iOS Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is fully remote and requires a strong understanding of iOS development principles, best practices, and the ability to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
- Build reusable components and frameworks that enhance our mobile development capabilities.
- Implement and enforce secure coding practices, including encryption and authentication mechanisms, to protect user data.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into functional and engaging mobile experiences.
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
- Develop and maintain automated testing suites to ensure application quality and stability.
- Contribute to the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Stay abreast of the latest iOS development trends, technologies, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS application development.
- Demonstrated strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
- Proven experience in building scalable and performant mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of fundamental iOS architecture patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
- Experience with integrating RESTful APIs and handling data synchronization.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile security best practices and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with iOS testing frameworks, including XCTest.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing reusable SDKs or frameworks for mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes for mobile application development.
- Experience with mobile application crash reporting tools and analysis.
- Exposure to Android development or cross-platform development frameworks.
- Experience managing the App Store submission and release process.
