Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Java Developer for an immediate opening with our client. This is a hybrid onsite role requiring 13+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Apache Camel, Jetty, and Java upgrades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Implement solutions using Apache Camel and Jetty.
- Perform Java version upgrades and ensure system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills:
- 13+ years of experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Apache Camel.
- Experience with Jetty application server.
- Strong understanding of Java upgrades and migration strategies.
- Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with various design patterns and architectural styles.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
