Role Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Senior Java Full Stack Angular Developer for a long-term remote engagement. This 6-12 month assignment is ideal for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies. As a senior developer, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, building scalable, high-performance applications that meet the evolving needs of our global clients. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions from conception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of responsive and interactive user interfaces using Angular 10+ and modern CSS frameworks.
- Design and implement robust backend services using Java 8, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot, focusing on modularity, scalability, and ease of deployment.
- Utilize Spring MVC and Spring REST to create efficient and secure APIs for data exchange.
- Manage and optimize complex database schemas in MySQL, with a specific focus on handling geospatial data efficiently.
- Integrate legacy systems and third-party services using SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices and internal coding standards.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in full-stack development with a focus on Java and Angular.
- Expertise in Angular 10 or higher, including deep knowledge of RxJS, NgRx, and Angular CLI.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8 and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data).
- Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL, and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with SOAP services.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
Qualifications and Special Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.
- A well-established and professional LinkedIn profile is required for this role.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year
