Job Overview:
DPR Solutions is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer for a hybrid role, primarily based in the DMV area, with work locations in Rockville, MD, and Tysons, VA. This is a 12-month contract position where you will be part of a core engineering team responsible for the end-to-end development and enhancement of a critical platform. We are looking for individuals with strong backend Java expertise and frontend experience with Angular.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in full lifecycle development, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of the platform.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of scalable, production-grade systems.
- Collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development best practices.
Technical Requirements:
- Mandatory strong backend expertise in Java.
- Working knowledge of Python is required.
- Frontend development experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging tools such as Kafka, SNS, and SQS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab) and QA automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in financial services or regulated environments is a strong plus.
- Exposure to AI/LLM-based solutions is highly desirable.

Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 per year (Estimated)
