Job Title: Sr. Mainframe Developer

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Mainframe Developer to join our team for an onsite position in Wilmington, DE. This role requires expertise in a variety of mainframe technologies and a strong understanding of banking compliance and regulatory platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, and other relevant languages.
  • Design and implement solutions using CICS, IMS DB, and MQ Series.
  • Ensure data integrity and efficiency through effective use of VSAM and DB2.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and test environments.
  • Maintain and enhance existing mainframe systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of test regions.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Expertise in CICS Programming, including CICS Screen Programming.
  • Experience coding in MQ Series & IMS DB.
  • Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
  • Hands-on coding development experience.
  • Experience with version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience/Knowledge in building and maintaining new Test regions.
  • Experience in Banking Compliance and Regulatory Platform.
