Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Oracle Business Operations Leader to drive the strategy, performance, and support of our Oracle ecosystem. This role will lead the Application Management Services (AMS) team, managing both Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical/functional expertise with a focus on customer engagement, acting as the bridge between IT capabilities and business objectives to ensure system stability, innovation, and high user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- AMS Team Leadership & Operations
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing global/offshore AMS team supporting Oracle EBS (R12).
- Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for incident management, system uptime, and resolution times.
- Oversee system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and change management processes for both legacy and cloud instances.
- Drive operational excellence through ITSM best practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Oracle Cloud & EBS Strategy
- Develop strategies to optimize performance and adoption of Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (ERP, HCM, SCM).
- Manage the coexistence, integration, and eventual migration paths from Oracle EBS to Fusion Cloud.
- Ensure technical stability of integrations, reports, and data pipelines between Oracle and ancillary systems.
- Customer Engagement & IT Leadership
- Act as the primary IT partner to business stakeholders (Finance, HR, Supply Chain) to align technology roadmaps with business goals.
- Lead customer success engagement, ensuring high user satisfaction, training, and effective communication of system changes.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on system performance, project status, and ROI.
- Project & Governance
- Manage end-to-end implementation projects and enhancement cycles (SDLC).
- Enforce compliance, security, and data integrity standards across all Oracle environments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 20+ years in IT roles, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role managing Oracle AMS teams.
- Oracle Expertise: Strong, hands-on functional/technical experience with both Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, or SCM).
- Leadership: Proven experience managing offshore support teams and vendor relationships.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated success in acting as a trusted IT advisor to senior business stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and SQL/PLSQL.
- Knowledge of Data Analytics and BI Reporting (OTBI/BI Publisher).
- Oracle Cloud Certification
Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
