Job Overview:

Our client, a distinguished top-tier management consulting firm, is actively seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting data development, validation, and reporting initiatives, particularly within an investment banking environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in regulatory reporting and a strong understanding of financial services data intricacies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL code to support data initiatives.
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Generate regulatory reports (e.g., FR 2052A, FR Y-15) using PL/SQL.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including production release cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data and reporting.
  • Utilize Axiom reporting tool for enhanced reporting capabilities (highly preferred).
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and reporting frameworks.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of professional experience in PL/SQL development.
  • Proven experience within the financial services industry.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., FR 2052A, FR Y-15).
  • Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and reporting processes.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and production release management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Axiom reporting tool is a significant advantage.

  • Duration: 6+ Months Contract
  • Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)
  • Work Authorization: Local candidates only.
