Position Summary: Senior Salesforce Developer
Yashnee Tech is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our client’s team in Austin, Texas. This is a long-term contract opportunity requiring a hybrid work schedule (onsite in Austin on Thursdays and Fridays). The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in the Salesforce ecosystem, capable of designing, developing, and implementing complex solutions on the Force.com platform. You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into high-performance, scalable technical solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop custom solutions using Apex programming, Visualforce pages, Apex triggers, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Implement declarative solutions using Salesforce configurations such as Flows, Process Builders, and Workflow Rules.
- Lead the technical aspects of Salesforce programs, including Classic to Lightning upgrades, data migrations, and system integrations.
- Design and implement secure integration solutions with 3rd party applications using REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Utilize authentication protocols like OAuth to ensure secure data exchange between cloud-based and on-premises applications.
- Manage the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process, adhering to coding standards, change control, and version management.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Flosum and Git.
- Create custom Reports and Dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience in Salesforce development with a strong focus on Apex and LWC.
- Proven ability to assess Salesforce architecture and provide secure, high-performance technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Expertise in integrating Salesforce with external systems via custom REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of DevOps technology and build/deployment tools.
- Experience with Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration projects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Work Environment and Schedule
This role is based in Austin, TX, and follows a hybrid model. The consultant is required to be onsite at the Austin office every Thursday and Friday. The remaining days can be worked remotely. This is a long-term engagement, offering stability and the opportunity to work on high-impact projects within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I & II) are highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Special Requirements
Hybrid 2 days (Thurs & Fri) in Austin, TX; Long Term duration.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
