About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. SAP SD Consultant to join our dynamic team. This is a remote, contract-to-hire opportunity with a duration of 6+ months, offering the chance to work on critical Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and integrations. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing business requirements, configuring the SAP SD module, and supporting end-to-end O2C lifecycles. This position requires a strong understanding of SAP SD functionalities, including pricing, billing, and sales order processing, as well as experience with integrations to MM and FI modules. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless support for existing SAP SD processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP SD solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Configure and customize the SAP ECC SD module, encompassing critical areas such as Sales Orders, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Credit Management, and other relevant functionalities.
  • Provide expert support for the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with teams responsible for Materials Management (MM) and Financial Accounting (FI) to ensure seamless integration between modules.
  • Leverage strong knowledge of Over-the-Counter (OTC) Pricing to optimize pricing strategies and configurations.
  • Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and actively support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive functional specifications, working hand-in-hand with ABAP developers for any custom development needs.
  • Offer robust support for existing SAP SD processes, consistently meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), resolving issues promptly, and managing change requests effectively.
  • Actively participate in SAP rollout projects, system upgrades, and migration initiatives to enhance the SAP landscape.
  • Engage with stakeholders and team members across different geographical regions and time zones, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate training sessions for key users and contribute to the development of end-user documentation and training materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of dedicated, hands-on experience specifically with the SAP SD module is essential.
  • Demonstrate a strong and comprehensive understanding of core SAP SD processes, including sales order processing, intricate pricing configurations, shipping logistics, billing procedures, and handling returns.
  • Proven experience in configuring essential SD master data elements, such as customer master data, material master data, and detailed pricing conditions.
  • Familiarity with critical SAP functionalities like IDoc processing, output determination, and complex intercompany sales scenarios.
  • Working knowledge of integration touchpoints with other SAP modules, including Financial Accounting (FI), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), and Logistics Execution (LE).
  • Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate the capability to work effectively both independently, managing your own workload, and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $60 – $85 per year
