Job Overview: Senior Technical Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Analyst with strong expertise in UNIX/Linux environments and middleware technologies. The ideal candidate will support enterprise payment platforms and infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. This is a long-term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, design, document, install, test, implement, monitor, and maintain complex UNIX/Linux-based applications such as GPP, GCP, and Total Payments.
- Configure and support production, testing, and development environments (Solaris/AIX/Linux).
- Troubleshoot system and application issues and maintain technical documentation and RFPs.
- Perform capacity planning, disaster recovery (DR) configuration, and high availability implementations.
- Configure tools for event monitoring, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.
- Provide technical training and support when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in UNIX/Linux/Cloud environments.
- Experience with J2EE Application Servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or AWS EC2.
- Experience with Oracle DB, IBM MQ, Hazelcast.
- Experience with UNIX Shell/Perl scripting or application server scripting.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch and Kafka (preferred).
- Understanding of UNIX high availability and clustering.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.

- This is a remote position.
- The contract duration is 12+ months.
- Travel may be required.
