Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Technical Product Owner with a strong background in Wealth Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data-driven products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition and prioritization of the product backlog, ensuring clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products.
- Drive the product roadmap and strategy, focusing on data lakes, data marts, analytics, and reporting platforms.
- Ensure data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA, GDPR, KYC/AML) are integrated into product development.
- Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) to manage product development cycles and facilitate stakeholder communication.
- Leverage expertise in SQL and data modeling to build scalable and efficient data solutions.
- Work with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for data engineering and product delivery.
- Gather and analyze market requirements, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
- Facilitate product demos and communicate product updates to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in product ownership best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role.
- Strong domain expertise in Wealth Management, including portfolio management, client onboarding, advisory, and reporting.
- Hands-on expertise in developing and managing data-driven products.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, for data engineering and product delivery.
- Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks (SEC, FINRA, GDPR, KYC/AML).
- Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe), including backlog management and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)
Location: Fort Mills, SC
