Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Technical Product Owner with a strong background in Wealth Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data-driven products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition and prioritization of the product backlog, ensuring clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products.
  • Drive the product roadmap and strategy, focusing on data lakes, data marts, analytics, and reporting platforms.
  • Ensure data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance (SEC, FINRA, GDPR, KYC/AML) are integrated into product development.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) to manage product development cycles and facilitate stakeholder communication.
  • Leverage expertise in SQL and data modeling to build scalable and efficient data solutions.
  • Work with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for data engineering and product delivery.
  • Gather and analyze market requirements, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Facilitate product demos and communicate product updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in product ownership best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role.
  • Strong domain expertise in Wealth Management, including portfolio management, client onboarding, advisory, and reporting.
  • Hands-on expertise in developing and managing data-driven products.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, for data engineering and product delivery.
  • Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks (SEC, FINRA, GDPR, KYC/AML).
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe), including backlog management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Fort Mills, SC
