Position Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Web Full-Stack Developer for an onsite role in Auburn Hills, MI. This position requires a minimum of 7 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to web service development and integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed design, development, unit testing, and integration of complex applications. This role is critical for our Automotive OEM projects, requiring a developer who can produce scalable, flexible, and high-quality code that meets both functional and non-functional requirements. You will work within an Agile environment, collaborating with solution architects and business analysts to deliver enterprise-grade software services.

Technical Stack and Expertise

  • Expertise in React.js, JavaScript, DOM, and state management libraries like Redux, Saga, and Flux.
  • Strong backend development skills using Java/J2SE 8, Spring Boot Framework, and Hibernate.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and building RESTful services.
  • Deep understanding of Micro Frontend architecture and cross-domain JavaScript frameworks.
  • Proficiency in database management with MySQL or other Relational Databases.
  • Hands-on experience with secure development practices, including OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT.
  • Familiarity with DevOps in cloud environments and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) concepts and micro-service integration.
  • Tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio; Node.js and GraphQL experience is a significant plus.

Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer, you will lead the technical delivery of customer-facing websites and portals. Your duties will include translating business requirements into technical designs, creating process and data flow diagrams, and ensuring that all code follows established design patterns. You will be expected to identify and resolve technical issues, coordinate with extended team members, and support both functional and performance testing phases. A significant portion of the role involves implementing UI/UX designs and troubleshooting defects in UI components, often working alongside creative agencies. You will also participate in code reviews and ensure that all assigned work is implemented within project schedules.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $130,000 – $175,000 per year (Estimated)
