Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Wi-Fi Engineer for a high-priority role. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Wi-Fi technologies and network performance optimization.
Must Have Skills:
- Proficiency in 802.11 standards including a/b/g/n/ac/ax.
- In-depth understanding of Wi-Fi security modes.
- Experience with Wi-Fi Mesh network configurations and management.
- Knowledge of emerging Wi-Fi standards like Wi-Fi 6e / 7.
- Expertise in Wi-Fi performance testing, including throughput and latency analysis.
- Skilled in using packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
Good to Have Skills:
- Basic networking fundamentals.
- Scripting experience for automation.
- Experience presenting technical information to executives.
- Basic RF (Radio Frequency) experience.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for Embedded Linux systems.
This role requires a candidate who can not only implement and optimize Wi-Fi networks but also troubleshoot complex issues and communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership.
Special Requirements
High Priority, Philadelphia, PA location. Presentation to executives may be required.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
