Job Title: SRE
We are looking for a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with extensive experience supporting large-scale eCommerce platforms. This is an onsite contract position at Framingham, MA, working with our client, Staples Inc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 7+ years of IT experience with strong exposure to production systems and 24/7 support environments.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding and hands-on experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and DevOps practices.
- Possess extensive experience supporting large-scale eCommerce platforms with high availability and high transaction volumes.
- Show strong experience in incident management, L1/L2 production support, root cause analysis (RCA), and complex production troubleshooting.
- Have hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools, including New Relic (APM, alerts, dashboards, performance monitoring) and Splunk; experience with additional monitoring tools is a plus.
- Maintain working knowledge of Angular applications from an operational, monitoring, and troubleshooting perspective.
- Demonstrate experience with CouchDB / Couchbase or other NoSQL databases.
- Possess a strong understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and application runtime diagnostics.
- Exhibit strong expertise in programming languages and scripting, with hands-on experience supporting automation, operational tooling, and backend troubleshooting.
Qualifications:

- Experience with CouchDB / Couchbase or other NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of Linux, networking, and application diagnostics.
- Expertise in programming languages and scripting for automation.

Salary: $114,400 – $114,400 per year
