Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong Golang experience for an onsite position in Austin, TX. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality code, writing effective unit tests, and managing cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality code in Golang, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code robustness and reliability.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, specifically on AWS, ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Utilize Kubernetes for deployments, including managing StatefulSets and Load Balancers.
  • Configure and manage monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Loki.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and management, providing clear and concise communication.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to maintain high availability.

Technical Requirements

  • Extensive working experience with Golang (E2 level and above).
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, StatefulSets, and Load Balancers (E2 level).
  • Solid experience with AWS Cloud services (E2 level).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging stacks like Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Loki.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices.

Additional Information

  • This is an onsite position located in Austin, TX.
  • The role is expected to last 6-10+ months, with potential for extension.
  • The maximum rate for this position is $55 per hour.
