Job Title: SRE Lead/Golang

We are seeking an experienced SRE Lead with strong Golang expertise for an onsite contract role in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality code, experience with Kubernetes and AWS, and a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Site Reliability Engineering practices.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using Golang.
  • Write comprehensive unit tests for Go applications.
  • Manage and deploy applications using Kubernetes, including deployments, StatefulSets, and Load Balancers.
  • Leverage AWS cloud services for infrastructure and application deployment.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Utilize Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Loki for monitoring, alerting, and logging.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical teams and management.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive working experience with Golang (E2 level and above).
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, production-ready code.
  • Proficiency in writing unit tests in Go.
  • Strong Kubernetes experience (E2 level), including deployments, StatefulSets, and Load Balancers.
  • Solid experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager, and Loki for monitoring and logging.

Additional Information:

  • This is an onsite role, and local candidates in Texas are preferred.
  • H1b, H4ead, or OPT visa holders are preferred.
  • This is a contract position.

Special Requirements

Onsite Role, Local to TX preferred. H1b, h4ead or OPT will prefer.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
