Role Overview: Stonebranch Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled Stonebranch Administrator to join our enterprise infrastructure team for a long-term contract engagement. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our production batch scheduling across both Mainframe and Midrange environments. The successful candidate will serve as the primary subject matter expert for the Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC), ensuring that all automated workflows are optimized, secure, and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC) infrastructure, including server components and remote agents.
- Oversee production batch scheduling for complex workflows spanning Mainframe (z/OS) and Midrange (Windows/Linux/Unix) systems.
- Execute system migrations, version upgrades, and patch management for the Stonebranch environment.
- Perform agent installations, configuration, and connectivity troubleshooting across diverse network segments.
- Collaborate with application development and operations teams to design, test, and implement new scheduling requirements.
- Monitor system performance and optimize the long-term and current plans to ensure high availability and meeting of SLAs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for scheduling standards, recovery procedures, and system configurations.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical scheduling failures and system outages as part of a rotation.
Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience with Stonebranch Universal Controller and Universal Agent.
- Strong background in Mainframe operations and JCL (Job Control Language).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
- Experience with cross-platform scheduling and file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, specifically Change Management and Incident Management.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $165,000 per year (Estimated)
