About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Level 3 Storage Administrator to join our team. This is an onsite position located in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing complex storage solutions, with a focus on NetApp technologies and SAN fabric infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy NetApp storage solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Install, configure, and test NetApp hardware and software components.
  • Deploy and manage storage protocols such as NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
  • Configure and optimize SAN Fabric infrastructure, utilizing technologies such as Cisco MDS or Brocade, to provide reliable, scalable, and high-performance connectivity.
  • Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of NetApp storage systems.
  • Implement data protection and disaster recovery solutions using NetApp SnapMirror, SnapVault, MetroCluster, and other technologies.
  • Facilitate block and file migrations between NetApp clusters, including switched cluster and non-switched cluster migrations, while ensuring minimal downtime and avoiding data loss.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NetApp storage solutions into existing IT environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.
  • Stay up to date with the latest NetApp technologies and certifications to ensure expertise in the field.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Storage Administrator, preferably at L3 level.
  • In-depth knowledge of NetApp storage solutions.
  • Expertise in configuring and managing storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
  • Strong understanding of SAN Fabric infrastructure (Cisco MDS, Brocade).
  • Experience with data protection and disaster recovery technologies (SnapMirror, SnapVault, MetroCluster).
  • Proficiency in performing storage migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant NetApp certifications are a plus.

Employment Type:

This is an onsite contract position with a C2C payment structure. The rate range is $45/hr to $50/hr.
