Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Swift UI Developer for a long-term onsite engagement in Culver City, CA. This role requires a seasoned professional with over 12 years of experience in the software development lifecycle, specifically focusing on high-performance mobile applications and robust backend integrations. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between sophisticated user interfaces and complex data-driven backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift UI and the Foundation framework.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using modern Python frameworks including FastAPI, Django REST Framework, and Flask.
- Ensure application performance, security, and coding standards are met across all development tiers.
- Develop modular system components that contribute to the overall reliability and maintainability of the application.
- Implement data migration strategies and manage complex database operations using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Conduct comprehensive load and performance testing to ensure system stability under high traffic.
- Assist with asynchronous workflows and data processing tasks using Pandas, NumPy, and distributed frameworks like Celery or PySpark.
- Integrate JavaScript components where necessary to enhance mobile-web hybrid functionalities.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Swift and Swift UI for iOS development.
- Strong experience with Python-based web frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
- Deep understanding of Oracle PL/SQL and data migration techniques.
- Proven track record in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience with data science libraries such as Pandas and NumPy for backend data processing.
- Familiarity with asynchronous task queues like Celery and big data tools like PySpark.
- Solid understanding of mobile performance tuning and memory management.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
