Job Summary:
Our client, based in the Park Ridge, IL area, is looking to hire a System Administrator Consultant with an emphasis on IT security. This is an urgent role requiring a local candidate with a Driver’s License, residing within 30 miles of Park Ridge, IL. An active LinkedIn account is necessary, and the resume must be 3 to 4 pages long.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Administration with an emphasis on IT security.
- Installing, troubleshooting, and updating security software/hardware.
- User account creation, management, migration, and removal.
- Service account creation, management, migration, consolidation, and removal.
- Hardware and software inventory management (handled remotely).
- Consolidation and migration from local AD to Entra.
- Report creation from MS tools (e.g., Defender, Purview).
- Intune policy creation and deployment.
- Creation of baseline configuration standards.
- Creating alerts on security logs.
- Remediating vulnerabilities.
Required Skills and Experience:
- System Administration experience.
- IT Security Support experience.
- Experience with Installing, troubleshooting, and updating security software/hardware.
- Experience with user account creation, management, migration, and removal.
- Experience with service account creation, management, migration, consolidation, and removal.
- Experience with hardware and software inventory (handled remotely).
- Experience with PowerShell Scripting.
- Experience with consolidation and migration from local AD to Entra only.
- Experience with report creation from MS tools (e.g., Defender, Purview).
- Experience with Intune policy creation and deployment.
- Experience with creation of baseline configuration standards.
- Experience with creating alerts on Security logs.
- Experience with remediating vulnerabilities.
