Position Overview
GVR Infotek is seeking a highly skilled System Software Programmer for a critical onsite engagement in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is designed for a seasoned professional who can navigate the complexities of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while specializing in the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) ecosystem. As we look toward the technological demands of 2026, this position requires a developer who can integrate legacy systems with modern, adaptive form solutions to provide seamless user experiences for state-level infrastructure. This is a high-impact role that demands both technical precision and a commitment to onsite collaboration.
Core Technical Competencies
- Extensive experience (7+ years) across the full SDLC, from initial requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance.
- Deep expertise (3+ years) in Adobe AEM, specifically focusing on adaptive forms and workbench applications, with a mandatory requirement for version 6.4 or higher.
- Specialized knowledge in Adobe PDF forms and analytics to drive data-informed improvements in document processing.
- Advanced coding skills in JavaScript and XML, with at least 4 years of professional experience in developing complex system logic.
- Strong SQL querying capabilities to manage and manipulate backend data structures effectively.
- Proven track record in Change Management processes, ensuring that system updates are deployed with minimal disruption and maximum reliability.
Project Scope and Impact
The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing system software that serves as the backbone for digital interactions. By leveraging AEM’s adaptive forms, you will help transform how users interact with complex data sets, making processes more intuitive and efficient. Your work will involve not only coding but also participating in the broader strategic planning of system upgrades and migrations. Candidate Requirements and Residency
This position has a strict residency requirement: candidates must be CURRENT residents of South Carolina. No relocation assistance is provided, and the role is strictly onsite. We are looking for a professional who is already integrated into the local tech ecosystem and can commit to a Face-to-Face (F2F) interview process. Preferred qualifications include experience with Business Analyst responsibilities and a Scrum Master Certification, which will allow you to take a leadership role within the development team and drive agile methodologies forward.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $155,000 per year
