Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with a strong background in End User Computing (EUC) support and management. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure, focusing on Windows environments, Active Directory, and endpoint management tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MDM solutions and SCCM, along with a solid understanding of ITIL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support and management for End User Computing (EUC) environments.
- Manage and maintain Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and implement endpoint security measures.
- Utilize Master Data Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, VMware AirWatch) for device management.
- Perform patching and software deployment using SCCM (MECM) or similar tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Adhere to ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Ensure smooth operation of macOS and mobile OS platforms as part of the EUC strategy.
- Communicate effectively with end-users and IT teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT infrastructure and support processes.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in EUC support and management.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, macOS, and mobile OS platforms.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune or VMware AirWatch.
- Familiarity with SCCM (MECM) or equivalent tools for patching and software deployment.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Additional Information:
This is a contract position with multiple potential work locations in New Jersey: Piscataway, Englewood Cliffs, and Ewing. The role requires an onsite presence. OPT and EAD visa holders are eligible to apply.
