Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Analyst to support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP). This role involves creating data pipelines, dashboards, and reports using Informatica IICS, Tableau, or PowerBI. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into functional data solutions and collaborate with program staff to ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities include participating in testing, publishing reports, and promoting their use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business objectives and problems, identify solutions, and perform cost-benefit analysis.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
- Confer with organizational units to analyze current operations, identify issues, and define input/output requirements.
- Document user needs, program functions, and development steps.
- Review system capabilities and limitations to ensure feasibility of requested changes.
- Create data pipelines, dashboards, and reports using Informatica IICS, Tableau, or PowerBI.
- Translate business requirements into data pipelines and reports.
- Collaborate with program staff to meet customer needs.
- Participate in testing of pipelines, reports, and dashboards.
- Publish and promote reports as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- 8 years of experience creating dashboards or reports using Tableau / PowerBI or similar tools.
- 8 years of Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and data management experience using Informatica.
- 4 years of experience working with very large scale data sets in Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar. Snowflake experience strongly preferred.
- 4 years of experience with data analysis.
- 2 years of experience working with Informatica ETL tools strongly preferred.
- 2 years of experience working with Tableau creating dashboards and reports.
- 2 years of experience working with PowerBI creating dashboards and reports.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid onsite work model. Candidates must currently reside in the Austin, TX area.
- Contractor will be required to be on site 3 days per week, subject to change.
- Duration: 6+ Months

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $70 per year (Estimated)
