Job Description: Tableau Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Administrator to join our team for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Tableau Server environment, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting users.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Tableau Server environments.
- Monitor server performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
- Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and patching of Tableau Server.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Provide support and training to Tableau users.
- Develop and maintain documentation for Tableau Server configurations and processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tableau Server Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online.
- Familiarity with database connectivity, including SQL Server and Oracle.
- Basic understanding of Windows/Linux server administration.
- Experience with performance tuning and monitoring of BI platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
