Job Title: Teamcenter Admin with Linux
We are seeking a skilled Teamcenter Administrator with strong Linux experience to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain the Teamcenter environment.
- Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
- Perform regular system backups and recovery operations.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Apply patches and upgrades to the Teamcenter software.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on system integration and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Ensure system compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to Teamcenter and its underlying infrastructure.
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization.
- Manage the integration of Teamcenter with other enterprise systems.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Teamcenter features and technologies.
- Provide training and guidance to junior administrators and users.
- Manage the Teamcenter database and ensure its integrity.
- Implement and manage custom configurations and extensions.
- Work with vendors for support and issue resolution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Teamcenter environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Teamcenter Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Experience with database administration (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Familiarity with PLM concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting) is a plus.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and security principles.
- Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and migrations.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year
