Job Title: Teamcenter Admin with Linux

We are seeking a skilled Teamcenter Administrator with strong Linux experience to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain the Teamcenter environment.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
  • Perform regular system backups and recovery operations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Apply patches and upgrades to the Teamcenter software.
  • Provide technical support to end-users.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams on system integration and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation.
  • Ensure system compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems related to Teamcenter and its underlying infrastructure.
  • Optimize system performance and resource utilization.
  • Manage the integration of Teamcenter with other enterprise systems.
  • Plan and execute disaster recovery procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Teamcenter features and technologies.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior administrators and users.
  • Manage the Teamcenter database and ensure its integrity.
  • Implement and manage custom configurations and extensions.
  • Work with vendors for support and issue resolution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Teamcenter environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Teamcenter Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with database administration (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Familiarity with PLM concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and security principles.
  • Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and migrations.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year

Location: Austin, TX
