Role Overview: Teamcenter Architect
Keshav Consulting Solutions is seeking a Senior Teamcenter Architect for a direct client requirement. This is a remote position requiring a high level of expertise in Siemens Teamcenter PLM (Product Lifecycle Management). The ideal candidate will have between 9 to 12 years of experience leading large-scale Teamcenter implementations, upgrades, and complex data migrations. As an architect, you will be the technical lead responsible for defining the ‘To-Be’ process maps and ensuring that the PLM solution aligns with the business goals of clients in industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, and Hi-Tech.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Expertise
- Architecture and Implementation: You will lead the end-to-end architecture of Teamcenter functionalities, covering Part and BOM management, Document Management, Classification, and Change Management. You will be responsible for both configuration and customization solutions, ensuring that the system meets functional requirements while minimizing technical debt.
- Technical Leadership: You will collaborate with Business Analysts and other PLM Architects to translate user stories into technical designs. This includes applying hands-on experience in Java, BMIDE, and Microservices to lead development and testing resources across global onsite and offshore teams.
- Customization and Integration: Your role involves deep technical work with ITK (Server-side C/C++), SOA Services (REST/SOAP), and Client-side customizations (Rich Client and Active Workspace). You will manage integrations with various CAD systems (NX, SolidWorks, OrCAD) and enterprise systems like ERP, MES, and CRM using tools like T4S, T4O, and T4EA.
- Project Lifecycle Management: From requirement gathering to solution deployment and adoption, you will manage all technical work packages. You will leverage industry best practices to define data models and application configurations, ensuring high system performance and scalability.
- Strategic Consulting: You will assess risks, costs, and benefits of customization versus out-of-the-box configuration, producing documented application frameworks and functional specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 9-12 years of experience in Teamcenter PLM environments.
- Expertise in BMIDE for data schema development and UI modifications.
- Strong programming skills in C, C++, Java, and JavaScript.
- Proven experience with Teamcenter upgrades and large-scale data migrations.
- Knowledge of Active Workspace (AW) customization and configuration.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and global delivery models.
- Experience in highly regulated industries like Aerospace & Defense or Automotive is a major plus.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $215,000 per year
