Role Overview
Vsion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Tech Lead specializing in Guidewire ClaimCenter for a long-term, hybrid engagement in Plano, Texas. This role is designed for a technical visionary with over 12 years of experience in the IT industry who can lead complex implementations and provide strategic direction for insurance technology projects. As a Tech Lead, you will be the primary technical authority for the Guidewire ClaimCenter platform, ensuring that all solutions are scalable, robust, and aligned with the specific needs of the insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and architecture of Guidewire ClaimCenter solutions, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and client requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end claim life cycle within the Guidewire ecosystem, including critical phases such as Segmentation, Exposure management, Reserve setting, Payments processing, Recovery, Subrogation, and Salvage.
- Provide hands-on leadership to a team of developers and testers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Utilize Guidewire Cloud APD (Advanced Product Designer) to streamline product configuration and deployment processes.
- Manage integration testing with various external systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and system interoperability across the enterprise.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Personal Auto, Commercial Auto, and Property Lines of Business (LOB), tailoring technical solutions to meet specific business logic and regulatory standards.
- Drive Agile testing methodologies and oversee the full Bug Life cycle to maintain the highest levels of software quality.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to provide regular status updates, manage technical risks, and ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on Guidewire configuration, GOSU scripting, and integration patterns.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Information Technology, with a significant focus on Guidewire products.
- Mandatory Guidewire Associate certification.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter is required.
- Proven expertise in Cloud APD and integration frameworks within the Guidewire suite.
- Deep domain knowledge in Insurance, specifically regarding claim processing for Auto and Property lines.
- Strong proficiency in Agile development environments and modern testing tools.
- Experience with Claim Center digital applications and GT UI is considered a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while leading a distributed team.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-value business outcomes.
- Proven track record of leading successful large-scale Guidewire implementations.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,600 – $156,000 per year
