Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst/Data Analyst with expertise in Regulatory Reporting to join our Regulatory Reporting IT Team. This role requires a blend of strong technical skills in Oracle PL/SQL and regulatory reporting knowledge, specifically FR2052A and FRY-15. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating functional requirements into technical specifications, developing solutions, performing data analysis, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of regulatory reports. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate functional requirements into detailed technical requirements for regulatory reporting solutions.
- Develop and implement technology solutions for regulatory reporting, with a focus on FR 2052A and FRY-15.
- Perform solution design, development, and data validation for regulatory reporting topics.
- Develop solutions using Oracle PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, and cursors.
- Utilize Oracle Data Warehouse and DataMart development skills with Oracle PL/SQL and Unix.
- Manage code release and packaging into production environments.
- Ensure full understanding and adherence to the SDLC lifecycle.
- Analyze, problem-solve, and summarize functional subjects related to regulatory reporting.
- Perform data validation of regulatory reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Source information independently and proactively.
- Work independently and possess excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Collaborate effectively with end-users and technical teams.
- Conduct functional testing and data validation.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Developer/Analyst in a Financial Institution working on regulatory reporting topics.
- Must have experience implementing the FR 2052A report.
- Must have experience developing in PL/SQL and analyzing code.
- Must have experience working within the regulatory reporting domain.
- Must have experience liaising with end-users and technical teams.
- Must have experience in functional testing and data validation.
- Experience working with Axiom software is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
- Strong experience and understanding of report concepts (FR-2052A and FRY-15).
- Experience translating functional requirements into technical requirements.
- Ability to create and implement solution designs to achieve business requirements.
- Self-sufficient and pro-active in sourcing information.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Must be from NY or NJ only.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
