Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking and financial services, with a proven ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments. This role requires a blend of Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Scrum Master responsibilities, making it a dynamic and challenging opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply functional expertise within an agile squad to achieve customer outcomes and deliver business value.
  • Assist in prioritizing and setting clear business goals and expectations for squad deliverables.
  • Contribute domain knowledge to help the squad understand the ‘What’.
  • Translate requirements into technical specifications and supporting information to guide the squad on the ‘How’.
  • Engage with stakeholders offline to resolve obstacles and create a shared understanding of handshakes and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with multiple upstream and downstream technology teams, including Data Warehouse, LoanIQ, and the firm’s GL system.
  • Work as an integral part of a banking Agile Squad, adhering to agile development methodologies.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams located globally.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of requirements and convert them into clear, concise requirements for the development team.
  • Write detailed user stories in JIRA and create other artifacts such as workflow charts and diagrams.
  • Develop solution requirements specifications in an agile environment.
  • Work closely with the QA team to review test cases and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role.
  • Understanding of system-to-system communication, contracts, interface, and sequence diagrams.
  • Familiarity with the basics of systems design, such as microservice architecture.
  • Flexibility and open-mindedness towards alternative solutions, with the ability to drive implementation quickly and with high quality.
  • Strong analytical and people skills, with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Experience working within an Agile framework.

Skills Desired:

  • Working knowledge of financial markets, lending-based products, and Wealth Management.
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting and treasury functions.
  • Understanding of how to create user flows.
  • Ability to understand and manipulate data for analysis.

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have 3+ years of banking experience.
  • Looking for 10+ years of overall experience.
  • Heavy financial banking domain experience is required.
  • This person will fulfill multiple roles: BA/PM/SM.
  • Must be local or nearby to Alpharetta, GA, and able to perform in-person interviews and work onsite (Monday-Friday).
  • Duration: 12 Months Contract.

In-person interviews required. Must be local or nearby to Alpharetta, GA. Onsite work (M-F). Heavy financial banking domain experience required. Role involves BA/PM/SM responsibilities.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Alpharetta, GA
