Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Chicago, IL, for a high-priority digital transformation initiative. This hybrid role focuses on leveraging Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) platforms and process orchestration tools to streamline business operations and accelerate the delivery of technical solutions. With over 7 years of professional experience, the ideal candidate will serve as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that complex business requirements are accurately translated into functional specifications.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation and analysis of business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and detailed process mapping.
- Translate high-level business needs into comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and detailed User Stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Specialize in the extraction of complex business logic and calculation rules from legacy systems to ensure accurate migration or integration into new digital platforms.
- Drive projects involving LCNC platforms, specifically OutSystems or similar technologies, to facilitate rapid application development and deployment.
- Utilize process orchestration tools to design and optimize “to-be” workflows that enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Maintain a robust Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure all business objectives are addressed throughout the development and testing phases.
- Perform data profiling and analysis using SQL, Excel, or BI tools to support data-driven decision-making and validate technical designs.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners within Agile/Scrum frameworks to ensure technical solutions align with business goals.
- Conduct gap analysis on existing processes to identify functional deficiencies and propose innovative technical solutions.
- Support the validation and testing phases by ensuring that developed features meet the defined acceptance criteria and business needs.
Mandatory Technical Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or digital transformation environment.
- Direct experience with Process Orchestration and LCNC platforms, with a strong preference for OutSystems expertise.
- Mastery of requirements engineering, including the creation of BRDs, FRDs, and Agile User Stories.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools for logic validation and data profiling.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be able to clear comprehensive criminal background checks and drug testing (DT) prior to onboarding.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $130,000 per year
