About the Role:
Scalable Systems Inc. is looking for a Technical Java Lead with extensive experience in the Telecom domain. This is an immediate opportunity for an onsite role in Reston, VA. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership skills and a deep understanding of Java, microservices, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Java applications.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards, security, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical guidance and support for production environments, including complex issue resolution.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices and tools.
- Work with AWS cloud platform and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology selection.
Required Skills:
- Mandatory experience in Telecom domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8.
- Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Experience in designing RESTful APIs and integration patterns.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud platform.
- Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Strong understanding of application security, performance, and scalability.
- Experience in production support and complex issue resolution.
